Big Data and Information Analytics (BDIA, ISSN(Online): 2380-6974)，co-founded by National University of Defense Technology, Xi’an Jiaotong University and York University in 2015, is an interdisciplinary Open Access journal promoting cutting-edge research, technology transfer and knowledge translation about complex data and information processing. BDIA publishes Research articles (long and original research); Communications (short and novel research); Expository papers; Technology Transfer and Knowledge Translation reports (description of new technologies and products); Announcements and Industrial Progress and News (announcements and even advertisement, including major conferences), and is published by AIMS Press.

    To promote the development of Journal BDIA, and create a positive big data analysis interaction platform and facilitate interdisciplinary development and international exchanges, the three universities jointly sponsored the International Conference on Big Data and Information Analytics(BigDIA) at the same year. The primary goal of the annual conference is to bring together research scientists from academia, industries, and government agencies to report progress and exchange ideas to address challenges in fundamental research and rapid knowledge translation in collecting, processing, analyzing, integrating, annotating and visualizing Big Data for scientific exploration, business and policy decision-making.
